My sister was here!!

Uma das coisas que mais me custa ao viver aqui na Bélgica é estar longe de parte da minha família. E algo que me sabe tão bem é recebê-los cá, de vez em quando. A minha irmã veio cá passar uns dias. Foi a primeira vez que cá veio à minha casa. Foi tão bom tê-la por cá. Partilhar o meu espaço com ela, a nossa casa, os nossos cães, a minha vida. É sempre tão bom estar com ela e sempre tão difícil partir ou deixá-la partir. Pudesse eu trazer toda a gente para aqui, para bem pertinho de mim. Mas a vida é assim, certas escolhas trazem conseqüências, umas mais difíceis que outras, mas só temos que aprender a viver com elas. Eu não me arrependo de uma única escolha, por muito difícil que seja. Deixo-vos com algumas fotografias desses dias. <3

One of the most difficult things of being here in Belgium is to be far from my family. And something that feels so good is to receive them here. My sister came to stay with us for a few days. It was the first time she came to my house. It was so good to have her here. To share my space with her, our home, our dogs, my new life. It is always so good to be with her and so hard to let her go. I wish I could bring everyone here, to be closer to me. But life is like that, some choices bring consequences, some more difficult than others, but we only have to learn to live with them. And I don't regret any of my choices, even if sometimes it hurts to be away.
